09.01: Two new Ph.D. students joined the PIKE group -- Haibin Liu at IST is from China and Max Chang at CSE is from Taiwan, originally. Welcome onboard !

05.17: We had a dinner & beers at Otto's restaurant to celebrate the end of spring semester and Byung-Won's defense.
05.07: Wonhong Nam and Hyunyoung Kil became a proud parent of a baby girl, Yoona Nam. Both mom and baby, 6.1 lb, are healthy. Congratulations !

09.22: Together with Min-Yen Kan at NUS and Ee-Peng Lim at NTU, Dongwon Lee is editing a special issue on "Very Large Digital Libraries" for the IJDL journal.
08.29: Dongwon Lee won the 2006 IBM Eclipse Innovation Award
05.12: Su Yan, a Ph.D. student of IST, joined the group. Su will be co-advised by Dongwon Lee and C. Lee Giles.
02.26: Dongwon Lee is organizing the 1st Int'l VLDB Workshop on Clean Databases (CleanDB) at VLDB 2006 with Chen Li @ UC Irvine.
