The OpenDBLP is a by-product of the Atherton project, applying the Web Services research into the Digital Library domain. If familiar with the DBLP digital library, then OpenDBLP is its replica on the surface, but with entirely different internals written from the scratch. In a nutshell, one can search bibliographic information of scholars or conferences or journals, etc. It's similar to CiteSeer, but differs in that OpenDBLP has more narrowed focus on Computer Science domain with more controlled quality (vs. automatic citation hunting in CiteSeer). Also, it's also similar to ISI's CSI, but with a focus on Computer Science.
