We plan to feature a set of co-located workshops. Proposals for workshops (in PDF format) are invited and should be directly emailed to the CIKM 2007 workshop chair, Dongwon Lee, by February 9, 2007. Proposals should address the following issues: - Title and Acronym of workshop - Description of topics - Scope and novelty of the workshop - Workshop organizer(s) and their credentials - Format of workshop (1 day or 2 days) - Potential Program Committee - Highlights (e.g., keynotes, panels, journal special issue) - Expected number of participants - Details of any previous workshops Workshop proposals should include a draft Call for Papers indicating the relevant topics and the intended program committee. This year, in order to give ample time for organizers to plan and advertise their workshops, the decision on acceptance/rejection of workshop proposals will be made within 2 weeks of submission due -- no later than February 23, 2007. All CIKM 2007 workshop proceedings will be printed on CD only (i.e., no paper proceedings), together with the main CIKM 2007 proceedings. Thus, the timeline to print proceedings must be planned with the CIKM proceedings schedule. Other issues should be communicated with the workshop chair.
