Welcome to the home of the PIKE
(Penn State
Information,
Knowledge, and
wEb) Research Group.
We study research issues involving the management of and mining in data in diverse forms (e.g., structured records, text, multimedia, social media, and Web), and their social or security applications. People often call such as (part of) Data Science,
Social Computing, and/or
Cybersecurity
these days.
For the Ph.D. admission in Fall 2027, I have openings for:
- 2 funded RA positions on the theme of "AI Watermark," "Machine Unlearning," or "Physical AI." Both international and domestic students are eligible.
- 2 funded positions on the theme of "AI + Cybersecurity." Each award includes three years of SFS scholarship with additional RA/TA support. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
If eligible and interested, please apply
to the IST Ph.D. program, and mention "Dongwon Lee" as one of potential advisors.
